Love and Insanity

Love is a disease, infesting the mind,
keeping you tight in it's menacing bind.
It can appear and hold you in it's embrace,
then disappear, without a trace.

Love destroys all reason, makes it go away,
until it leaves, then you want it back to stay.
It is an addiction, leaves you in a haze,
solving your mind, like a simple maze.

Love can be cruel. Love can be loving.
Love is unique, it is not nothing.
Love in your heart, love in your soul.
You are the engine, love is the coal.

Love is warm, love is kind.
Something pleasant you can find.
In home or at school, the message is clear,
Love can bring smiles, to others a tear.

But it is better this way, you cannot deny.
But one question you may ask is simply, why?
Love is insane, different to all.
But in the end, it will stand tall.

Sadistic

When you fall, I laugh.
When you trip, I chuckle.
When you slip, I giggle.
When you are hurt, I laugh out loud.

When you scream, I stop.
When you are injured, I suddenly gasp.
When you start to cry, I ask myself why.
When you start to die, I begin to cry.

Sadistic or not it leads to the same,
when you die, I will cry.

Dreaming.


I close my eyes and enter a world of bliss,
unchained by the laws of the world.
I mould the world to my liking,
it doesn't need to follow a plan.

I'll add a tree here,
I'll add a dog there.
I'll make a perfect world,
I'll make a perfect fantasy.

There are no bad endings,
there are no tears.
There is no sadness,
there is no fear.

Until a crack in the dream opens,
and reality leaks in,
and the dream rots away,
and the nightmare takes over.

I can no longer fly,
I can no longer sing,
I can no longer play,
what a horrible thing.

I open my eyes,
back to Earth.
Back to reality,
which is a curse.

Until the next day,
where I can sleep,
and the return to the world,
of magic and bliss.

Love and insanity is my second favourite. I like the first, second and fourth stanza the most. And the last line of the third stanza. Powerful stuff here.

Although perhaps a little more work on the Sadistic? It's my least fabourite and it kinda didn't read well imo in the first stanza, but second and third were great :D

Dreaming. Well, this was my favourite, didn't read well imo for the first two stanza's, but the rest.... I loved it, it was great.

My mind=Blown.
